Slater PR has gathered Darwen’s brightest prospects for a new project aimed at encouraging youngsters to follow in their footsteps.

Darren ( that’s me!), a Graphic Designer with his own successful business, Emma, an online retailer who started with a budget of just £8, and Lewis and Daniel, a pair of soccer academy coaches, have all been signed up as role models for Stand Out in Darwen.

We’ve been drafted in by Blackburn with Darwen’s Community and Voluntary Service to market the project to the town’s residents through the use of billboards and bus shelter ads (ambient media, as it’s formally called), radio spots (all designed and arranged by us), a cracking new website by eBusiness UK and the distribution of 18,000 brochures and leaflets.

Here’s a taster of what you’ll be seeing a lot of in and around Darwen in the coming months. Keep an eye out for our video case studies which will be uploaded in the very near future.

Stationary and marketing material was designed with quality in mind  (This is what Gene Sutcliffe is all about) we created our designs to be printed on pearlescent paper with gold metallic inks in a simple single colour print.

The website was created with a magazine look (that has been carried throughout the latest marketing campaign) and feel that gave visitors not only information about what Gene Sutcliffe is all about, but allows visitors to get the latest fashion news.
